Every weekend bedside learning the Dhamma and practicing, our active committee and members contribute their time, energy and even money to the temple the ways they can. They volunteer to work on construction, renovation, electricity, cooking, offerings food for monks, organizing the temple for events, gardening (planting vegetable and flowers), cleansing the temple ( inside and outside temple buildings), lawn mowing, snow blowing, and more... You are warmly welcome to join with us with your kind heart without any application.
GET INVOLVED
Get involved with constructions, renovation and decorations to develop the temple from time to time tirelessly. They spend their weekends and some free weekdays to contribute their time and energy with their skills as builders, carpenters, electricians and more other skills to help the temple with their faithful heart whenever we need their help.
Get involved with gardening in the summer. Planting vegetable and flowers with care. Various kinds of organic vegetable fill the green garden for the summer food and ingredients, some can be kept for the winter. Flowers make the temple colorful and beautiful as well as peaceful. They contribute their time voluntarily for the temple.
Our temple celebrate many Buddhist events each year and we need to decorate and organize the temple to get ready for the events. Active devotee and volunteers are always helpful to get it organized to make the environment of each even looks professional. They are proud to be the faithful Buddhists and help Buddhist Centre for the community.

Every weekend either summer or winter, all kinds of food are always ready with their contribute. Active devotees cook for monks, workers and for all events in the temple tirelessly. They spend their time, energy and also money without hesitation with their faithful heart for the meritorious deed.
SNOW & GRASS
In the winter, the temple is full of snow. They manage their time even in the weekdays coming to shovel and blow snow out of temple area. In the summer when the grass growing high, they help lawn mowing to make the temple looks clean and tidy.
SUMMER & FALL CLEANING
There is no any season that they are free from continue working to serve the temple. They always keep the temple clean, beautiful and peaceful. They dedicate their heart with the right effort to keep the temple developing smoothly.
By their right understanding, brings them to the right action and right effort because they have been learning and practicing the Buddha Dhamma with the right intention. They keep practicing the three teachings of the Buddha: Dana (generosity), Sila (morality) and Bhavana (mental development or purification) heedfully.
